An Invitation from Pastor Ed

This fall we are planning to start Community Groups spread out around Le Sueur, St. Peter, Henderson, and Belle Plaine.

These groups will be open to anyone who would like to attend and are intended to be a time of learning, support, encouragement and friendship. Each week these groups will gather together to discuss a prepared Bible lesson based on the Scripture text that will be used in the sermon the coming week, to pray for each other and simply enjoy being together. Each one of these groups will be unique and will take on a personality of its own.

My prayer is that everyone finds a group that "feels like home."

If you are interested in becoming a part of a Community Group, please take a moment to sign up in the coming weeks. You can email me at pastored@wordoflifelbc.org or sign up in the church foyer. Signing up is not an obligation, and you do not need to register in order to participte. I'm asking people to sign up so we have an idea of how many people would like to participate and where you live.

Also, if you are interested in hosting or leading one of these groups, I would love to speak with you. The lessons will be as leader friendly as I can make them, so prep time for leaders should not be a burden.

May God be with us as a community of believers, as we seek to know Him and make Him known.
