GENERATION FOR JESUS (GFJ) YOUTH GROUP
Generation for Jesus (GFJ) is the name of the youth program at Word of Life. Many activities are offered throughout the summer and winter.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
During the school year, Sunday School is held from 9:45 - 10:45 am.
It's a great opportunity to learn about God with other teens. We have a class for 7th grade, 8th grade, and Senior High (Grades 9-12).
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation at Word of Life Church is a two=year course of instruction in the basic teachings of God's Word and His Church. The instruction is based upon the study of Luther's Small Catechism. The areas of study include the Bible, the Ten Commandments, the Lord's Prayer, the Apostles' Creed, and the Sacraments.
Confirmation instruction is for teens in the seventh and eighth grades (although we have included older students as well).
Confirmation currently meets on Sunday mornings (Sept. thru April) from 9:45 - 10:45 am. Our celebration of the completion of Confirmation typically occurs on the first Sunday in May.
